VW Golf Mk4 TDI Hatchback
Silver MK 4 Golf TDI. 176k miles on the clock with a new MOT - Went through just needing 1 tyre. 3 previous owners, I have had this car since 2009 the last owner brought the car in 2005. Well looked after, I complete an oil service and filter change every year and have loads of history to support the work completed.
Great runner, great MPG and a smashing little car for its age. I use it daily and have done since I owned it, reliable as anything. Its not perfect, Ill attempt to list all the faults I know of. Slight discoloration to drivers side wing mirror (on the edges). The clutch and dual mass flywheel were changed at 100k, cambelt was done at 104 k and I would suggest that needs doing soon.
1 tyre low and would need changing soon but the spare is nearly new. I would say it needs brake pads and disks sometime in the next year - this was mentioned on the MOT as an advisory. Priced to sell quickly, I got offered a bit less than this on trade in against the new car and thought it was worth more.
The Mrs is giving me grief to sell it so priced to sell quickly and get the drive way back. Im not really taking offers as I have priced it at what I want for it.
