VW Golf Mk4 GT TDi PD130 Colour Concept Yellow Stunning Condition Very Rare 2002
For Sale - very rare Mark 4 Colour Concept VW Golf in Yellow. These were a very limited run - I believe there were 100 UK cars in this colour with only around 20 or so with the PD130 (ASZ) engine widely regarded as the best with its combination of power, economy and reliability. This car is in exceptional original condition. It is totally standard which again is rare. You can check the very low mileage (80,000) is genuine on the Gov website. I will also include contemporary literature and road tests confirming how sought after these cars were. The spec of these cars is very high - in addition to the special yellow colour (which looks amazing in the flesh) - it has a full leather Recaro sports interior. This was specced from new in full black leather rather than with the garish yellow inserts which makes it much easier to live with. The seats are heated, the trim is special edition'net optic' and it also has special edition'Montreal II' alloys as standard. 6 speed gearbox, central locking, electric windows, ABS, ASR, climate control, leather sports steering wheel etc with everything working as it should. As anyone who has driven one of these cars will know they are great fun to drive. The plentiful torque (228 lbs ft at only 1900 rpm) dominates the experience and the car is genuinely quick even against much more modern cars. The PD engines are also very efficient and I regularly see in excess of 60 mpg in general driving and over 600 miles on a single tank of diesel. The MoT expiry date is 30/3/20 - the advisory last year was front tyres getting low so these have been replaced. No expense has been spared in maintaining this lovely car.
