Hi here we have the very reluctant sale of our golf 1.9 GT TDI 130 , i have known this car from new and it has lived in our village all its life. It was bought new as a company car for Mike , my neighbour and spec'd up with heated leather seats and climate control, this is one of the 1st mk. The car has plenty of service history all stamped up along with timing belt and coolant pump change at 62,000 and then again at 137,000 just a few month ago. Full service including timing belt change. All new rear calliper's, pads and discs. New mot, (passed with no advisories only brake pipes greased for protection from the weather). Plus much more i cant remember at the moment. It has the highly respected PD engine in this with the high pressure fuel pump. This work was carried out by me as I'm a level 3 vehicle technician and i work for VW so no expense has been spared. Car has 3 Keys as it came with from new. Runs perfect , no smoke , doesn't use oil or water , no overheating and has a very light clutch as its brand new. Due to its age the body will have some marks , small dents etc. The only rust on it was a small patch on the nearside front arch, this was filled but needs finishing to make perfect, a can of factory mixed paint is included in the sale. When he had the car Mike mentioned the heater never got very warm, so by experience i know these are well known for crud settling in the internal heater matrix so, i ordered a new one, but while i was waiting for it to arrive i needed to get the car ready for the wife to use, so i flushed the coolant system and renewed the antifreeze and since then the heater has got better every week , so I've not needed to replace it, so will include this in the sale for the new owner. The wife likes the car warm and the heated leather seats get red hot so it never bothered her. No need to ask what's your best price', -- how much for cash tonight.
