Volkswagen Golf Mk4 tdi 2002 PD 150 BHP 6 speed with engine problem. For sale is my Mark 4 150BHP not chipped! I have had this car for 2 1/2 years and its been a solid reliable car. I sent it for its annual MOT in early December, and it PASSED without major issues. However, just 2 days later, and probably less than 50 miles, it lost power (like going into safe mode), and produced a lot of smoke. It got me home Ok, but due to the smoke, it will need transporting away. Little rust on passenger wing. It sounds to be running rough, and smokes when reved. When driven there is lots of smoke. The engine still runs though, so I guess thats a good thing! Someone has previously damaged the lock on the drivers door, so it locks on the keyfob buttons only. When working, this is a seriously fast car! Too fast for me in truth, so I was just a'point and squirt' merchant!! 150BHP in a small car like this can be scary! Has been a very reliable car. 6 Cd changer with Cassette! Passed its MOT in December and only did about 50 miles after, so should be in good mechanical condition. I have just discovered the car has an almost full tank of Diesel!! I dont know how to remove it, so it will be going with the car!
