Highlights if your in a hurry! 11 months MOT until 15/09/17. New cambelt and waterpump 14/05/15 at 136,116 miles (with receipt). No rust or damage to outer body. Alarm and central locking work! This is the legendary mk4 golf with the 130bhp version of the PD engines. The engine alone is famous for its reliability low maintenance and with the added 130bhp turbo provides the best power to economy ratio. Walking around the car the bodywork is in excellent condition as you can tell from the images it has been looked after. For its age there are a few points that need noting. Along the nearside there are fine scratches from bushes when driving along narrow roads and on the drivers door there is a chip of paint from the top of the door which has exposed the metal work. The air conditioning works very well and does not hammer the fuel like other cars, this was a god-sent in Paris last year! The engine starts first turn of the key and idles smoothly. No smoke out the back and pulls like a train which constantly puts a smile on my face. Gears are smooth with no crunching. All the doors open, close and lock with the remote central locking. Our best example of this is when we bought the car last year we loaded it up and drove to Disney Land Paris 2 adults, 2 kids and a full boot. We used half a tank of diesel! I think the 6th gear really helps on the motorways! Anyone looking for a cheap, fun and reliable car cannot go wrong with this! 20/05/03 - 8594 miles - Oil Change. 28/11/03 - 18554 miles - Oil change, Time or performance dependent service (VW Service stamped). 11/05/04 - 28590 miles - Oil change (VW Service stamped). 26/11/04 - 38251 miles - Oil change, Time or performance dependant service, Fuel Filter Changed, Air filter changed, Brake Fluid Changed (VW Service Stamped). 14/05/15 - 136116 miles - Oil change, Time or performance dependant service, Fuel filter change, air filter changed, cambelt replaced inc water pump, alternator belt + additional work. MOT till 15 September 2017. Last advisory items were 15/09/16. Windscreen has damage to area less than a 40mm circle OUTSIDE zone A - This happened on the motorway last year and is in no way distracting and has not grown in size. Tyre worn close to the legal limit nearside rear (worn on inner side edge) - MOT guy side this is very minor but had to list it anyway. Bonded suspension unit deteriorated but can function as intended nearside front lower - Basically it doesnt look nice but still works as intended. Front constant velocity joint gaiter deteriorated but preventing the ingress of dirt offside front - CV joint looking old but still working fine. NSF tyre has ply or cords exposed - New tyre fitted. Rear Discs and pads in such a condition it is seriously weakened - New discs and pads fitted. OSR Tyre tread depth below requirements of 1.6mm - Part worn tyre fitted. It works though which is a bonus! Sometimes when unlocking the car and you (for example) put your shopping in the boot it could lock itself again and set the alarm off. Easily deactivated by the remote but embarrassing sometimes. Could do with an oil and filter change.

Still being used as my daily driver to work and back so millage is increasing 15 miles per day (4 days per week) You could see this as a good point for reliability?? You are welcome to come and view.
