It is a diesel pump duse (PD130) engine of 1.9 litre capacity and it is a GT TDI kit so has all the extra trimmings. It also has the winter pack (larger wind screen wash volume for the pop up head light washer and the front seats are heated will miss this the most).

I have also added the rear cigarette lighter in the boot that earlier models had. Front and rear armrests as well as front and rear cup holders. All four tyre on the car were replaced in 2016 with Firestone tyres (its done 2000 miles on these) and I upgraded the battery to a Bosch battery too (you can notice the reduce glow plug warm up sequence with this one). It has a Michelin spare in the boot with a full jack kit and locking wheel nut. I had a different stereo but have removed this and put back the original stock radio/cassette player along with the 6 disc CD changer. I had a 1 din stereo so will include the cubby hole if you decide to do the same. I changed the alarm led from stock red to blue in the drivers door. The window dropped in the passenger side and I replaced the clamps with new metal ones instead of the design faulty plastic VW ones.

MOT until 17 September 2019, it passed with the following defects found. Repair as soon as possible (minor defects) Suspension arm ball joint dust cover severely deteriorated Offside-Front Lower. Monitor and repair if necessary (advisory) Oil leak, but not excessive Offside Front, Exhaust has a minor leak of exhaust gases Central Front, Steering rack has slight free play detected at Nearside Front, Central rear (Both exhaust clamp corroded). I have a box of spare bits and pieces which I will include as well.
