VW Volkswagen Golf 1.9 Gt Tdi 130 MK4
For sale is my 2003 VW Golf Gt Tdi 130 which I've now owned for over 11 years. It's really economical giving around 55mpg, whilst also having a fair amount of power.
It has lots of little extras such as climate control, cruise control and heated seats. The seats are really comfy although the drivers seat is showing signs of wear. The car has had little use over the past year and has been used generally as the 3rd car. Drives and runs well, but the brakes are a little rusty due to lack of use.
Has four fairly new tyres (one brand new). The car has had the timing belt changed at 67,902 miles and at 119,380, generally needs to be done every 60k miles.
The pictures make the paintwork look better than it really is. It has the normal scratches and bumps one would expect from a car of this age.
The bonnet has a few scraches which I had a go at sorting out myself not the best job in the world!! It also has a small dent on the rear bumper which you should be able to see from the picture. There are also a few scraches on the roof.
The arches on the fronts are good and also the rear on the drivers side. Arch on the rear passenger side is showing signs of rust as you can see in the picture.
There are also a few stone chips and scratches to the paint work in various places. Plastic handle and surround to fold the passenger seat is missing, but this can still be done. The plastic undertray for the engine compartment is also missing.I love this car but really I no longer have any use for it and have only kept it this long because of sentiment. It's not uncommon for these cars to get to 250k miles, so there's plenty of life still in this car. If you are looking for a workhorse, and want to travel in comfortable and economical car and are not so bothered about looks then this is the car for you.
