VW Golf MK4 GT TDI 150 ARL ENTIRE CAR FOR SPARES/REPAIR HIGHLINE PD CONVERSION

  

My dad bought this MK4 GT TDI 150 running as a donor car due to rusted sills, the intention was to take the ARL running gear and put it into a MK2 golf - however like most projects it never happened (mostly due to ill health) and the car has been stood for some time, it has been started every 6 months or so but hasnt been on the road for well over 5 years. The car has done 137k miles and there are no issues with the engine and can be seen running, revving to check for smoke/turbo issues etc. The body is a write off due to rust however a lot of the panels will be good to sell with a clean as there is no major damage. The intention was to do the conversion then sell the interior and other parts off to cover the cost, as the interior is the Recaro heated leather seats and wood trim - known as high line trim. One thing worth noting is the lower rear gearbox mount for the 6 speed box needs rethreading- random issue to report, but the only mechanical need that requires attention that we are aware of. The car is worth a fair bit in parts only as the engine, gearbox, turbo, injectors etc are in high demand. The interior is rare and sought after, everything else is a bonus.

The car has a full set of BBS Montreal wheels, obviously tyres are shot but still worth a little bit. I will not part out, car must go as one and will need trailering or a flat bed.
