VW Golf mk4 estate 1.9TDI PD130 reflex silver Spares OR Repair
The car was damaged while parked up at my house by a drunk teenager at 3am in the morning. It can be repaired and sent for mot, once passed it can be legally put back on the road.
The golf is a MK4 estate in reflex silver, it has the PD130 ASZ engine in it with the 02M six speed gearbox. It has been modified to stage 1 and has a remap. The mods will be listed below. ECU remap to 180BHP and 400NM of torque. VW Golf GTI anniversary 312mm upgraded brake discs and carriers.
Seat Cupra R 256mm rear EBC slotted discs and yellow stuff brake pads with refurbished and powder coated rear calipers and carriers. Audi TT MK1 short shifter gear linkage. All 4 injectors were serviced and tested, with new seals installed.
Apart from all the mods, the car was services at regular intervals and had quality parts used and fitted, correct spec oils were used and the timing belts and auxiliaries changed when needed. So there was no expense spared in maintenance for the car. As I read this description, I must have been mad, but it was a lovely sleeper.
The extent of the damage was mainly to the front drivers door and wheel arch. The shock absorber was bent and the rubber boot on the tie rod broke. The cars A frame on the bottom door mounting bracket has a slight kink in it causing the door to not shut properly. This is all that got damaged.
I wanted to do the repairs myself and fix the car but a job change and working hrs put a stop to that. I bough a second hand wheel arch and front door to try fix it but the door does not close properly because of the miss alignment of the A frame. I replaced the front shock that was bent, put a new coil spring in and changed the ball joint and tie rod end.
That was the only damage to the suspension. The car has not been put back together yet as I ran out of time before my job change. I need to make room for my work van so the car has to go.
I hope someone can put this back on the rd again or maybe salvage it for parts. I just don't have the time.

The car does not currently have a valid mot and will need to be recovered. It is currently a cat d write off and will need an mot to make it road worthy obviously after you have been able to get the front drivers door to close securely. The good news is that the car drives and starts no problem and can be driven on to what ever you bring to collect it with.
