VW Golf MK4 1.9TDI (130bhp) 3 door heated leather seats -MOT repairs needed
VW Golf mk4 1.9 TDI for sale - perfect for spares or repairs. My Dad had owned this car since 2003 and was looked after and mainly used as a 2nd car. The car has recently failed its MOT due to: a parking brake fault (nearside), Windscreen wipers need replacing, ABS Light is on (but has been on for 5 years so prob won't need attention).
Front side wheel arch corroded (see pics - garage said could probably putty up to get through MOT), Steering rack excessive free play detected at the steering wheel. My garage is only 800yds down the road if the winner needed an MOT before driving away. Mechanically the car is in fantastic condition and as the pictures show, other than slight issues mentioned above, it is a great car. It looks good, is extremely comfortable and runs well. Full leather interior and heated seats, upgraded VW stereo system.
More or less full service history + catalytic converter replaced recently. Only cosmetic damage is the wheel arch and also I recently rested up against a supermarket trolley lower rail in the work car park - see the slight crunch on the passenger door at the bottom. Comes with 6 tyres, all with good tread - 5 Alloys and a spare!!
