Here is my ultra reliable VW Golf mk4 1.9 GT TDI 110bhp. Covered 182k but starts on the button.
In the last 20k miles it's had the clutch done, front wheel bearings and tie rods. Lowered on 40mm lowering springs. Drives brilliant, engine and gearbox very smooth and engages gears with no problems. Mot'd until end May 2017 and taxed, I've used this car everyday and it has never let me down.
Brilliant on fuel, seen over 65mpg on motorway easily. All tires have over 5mm tread, and sunroof and electric windows work faultless. Had Honda battery fitted over Christmas.
Comes with original bumper also. Electric sunroof fully working and also MFA computer full working. Bad points: Paint work is not the best but it is over 16 years old, Lacquer peel on r32 bumper and little pieces around please look at pictures. Passenger door has a dent but been pushed out, could easily be changed but not that noticeable. Driver seat bolster has a common rip. Central locking doesn't work from key, but does work when pressed inside car button. Not big problems but the door locks barrel will not turn with key. Apart from that the car is brilliant and will do the next owner well.
