MK4 Golf - 183k with part service history. Mot valid until 20.12.2020. The car will require a new o/s front wheel bearing before it can be driven.
This was our daily driver for almost 10 years, the only reason we have not done the wheel bearing is because of an expanding family and this car was no longer big enough for us. It has not been driven since March when it was replaced.
O/S front wheel arch has rusted through (pictured). N/S front wheel arch rusted (pictured). Driver seat is worn (pictured). O/S front door sometimes takes a few pulls to open.
O/S rear door handle cable has not been run correctly when I repaired the electric window so door does not open from inside (never bothered to sort as we had the kiddie lock on that side anyway). O/S front wheel bearing needs replacing, car can not be driven before this is done - This is also throwing up an abs warning on the dash. No stereo as it was an aftermarket one which I have removed. It was however a dab stereo fitted and the dab antenna is still fitted. The car is 17 years old so there are age related marks over the body.

Before the wheel bearing went the car drove perfectly and pulled like a train in every gear. Water pump and belt were changed in 2017. Despite not being driven since March 2020 when I have connected jump leads the car fires up straight away from cold.

Car has been remapped but I have no proof of this as it was done before we owned it. I have tried to be as honest as possible in this listing, I had the car listed elsewhere but got so fed up with time wasters that I stopped advertising it. Anyone is welcome to come and view the car - its in Aylesbury Bucks.
