VW Golf GT TDI mk4 150
Hi everyone Welcome to the sale of my VW Golf. It is the 150 bhp ARL pd engine. I have just recently 2 weeks ago 1/3/17 had a good second hand gearbox put in along with a brand new clutch and brand new flywheel after it being off the road aprox 18 months.
I have had a genuine valeo single mass flywheel put in which is much much more reliable than dual mass and handles the power a lot better. I could of scrapped the golf after the last gear box and flywheel failed on me but felt this car was to nice just to scrap. It is very comfortable to drive being that it has leather heated seats 5 settings of heat. I have always kept it clean and serviced. I have also had a fresh 12 months MOT put on her at the time of having the gearbox etc done with only a couple of advisories. I have owned the golf since 2013 and whilst very good on fuel I felt I could could further increase fuel economy by having a generic stage 2 map done. This proved to be worth my while as I noticed it gave me an extra 5 mpg on average along with a big boost of performance.
I cant find the receipt for this map that was done, however I will keep looking and notify if found. If not then the proof of the map will be held by radical remaps of Exeter on there system.
There are a couple of age related marks rust spots I have included in the photos which I planned to do but being so busy just have not had time to sort out. They are not big and could be easily sorted with a good body work specialist. Other than that she is a very tidy car with relatively low mileage for a car of this age.
