VW golf gt tdi mk4 130 spares or repairs

I'm listing this as spares or repairs as it has a suspected turbo failure. Although I'm no mechanic, from my experience and what I've read online, it points to a turbo related issue. Recently it developed a leak from the sump plug, so I have wacked a Load of silicone around it to stop the leak. The car does start on the button, but smokes very bad, and has a grating/screeching sound, so the car will need towing or similar just to be on the safe side. Since owning the car it would go into limp mode above 80mph, so I guess it was only a matter of time.

I have owned the car for 2 years and in that time it has had new discs and pads all round and 2 springs. 2 new Goodyear tyres on the front in the last 5 months. Cambelt replaced around 125000, which is written under the bonnet. I have no proof in writing though. The clutch is good also. Rear wiper has a mind if it's own. Overall the car is in good condition and I just haven't the time or tools to get it sorted. I've bought a cheap runner to get to work for the time being, so this has to.
