VW Golf GT TDi 1.9 110bhp Diesel Mk 4 1999 V reg for Spares or Repair
Mk 4 1999 V for Spares or Repair. Manual , Hatchback 5 door, 230k ish on clock suggested for spares or repair. This has been used until fairly recently as a second car / runaround have owned it for last 15 years and it has been a brilliant workhorse and has been fed and watered regularly, serviced and MOTd. It is now time to say goodbye and to be honest it is suited to breaking for spares.
Paperwork and history, keys x2, wheel lock nut. Was running until around four months ago but battery has since gone dead and bonnet cable broken, so cant get in to take pic of engine or see actual mileage which is high and over 230k. Car intact but in poor to average very well used condition. Both wings have rust, one worse than other on arch, scuffs to some areas as in pictures Leather interior some natural wear to drivers seat, radio and cd player - cd pack in rear.
Had new cambelt , water pump kit and full service inspection, new lh ball joint, rear lh brake hose and all filters, oil etc in 2016 and has been serviced and kept running. Most recent issue was with an engine mount in Jan 2018 , this was repaired and also at time included new fan belt and refit turbo pipe. The car has been standing unused for approx four months and has not been started as battery went dead and when I went to try and replace it, the bonnet cable snapped and just not had time to sort.
