This cluster is also fully compatible with the MK4 Golf. Please note they are designed for a diesel engine car as the rev counter has a lower redline at about 4700 RPM. Free installation is offered on this cluster to your car, but you need to bring your car to me in Nottingham. Your mileage will be transferred across and your key(s) will be programmed. These clocks have been lightly customised, they have had a brushed aluminium trim installed to the cluster face by the owner of the car these were removed from.

They have done a good job of the install as its quite tricky to split the front screen from the clocks to get access to install this trim. I have tested these clocks up to +40C and they didn't show any signs of the screen fade that many of these units now suffer from with age. If you are modifying your car or already run a modified car, having upgraded clocks is a must, its the thing you look at all the time as you drive. These clocks are different to standard Golf MK4 clocks, they have the following extra features.

"Lit needles" - means that the needles are always lit, the same as found within modern Audi models. MTE - Miles to empty enabled - displays remaining fuel in the tank (often known as "fuel range"). Needle sweep - the rev counter/speedometer needles sweep from low to high to low once when the ignition is turned on. The same as found in more modern generation cars.
