51 reg VOLKSWAGEN GOLF GT T DI PD 130 MK4 IN BLACK. 161000 miles from new and only 3 previous owners. 11 months mot with no advisories. I bought as a car to use to take me around the country for work and has done its job very reliably.

And has been very cheap to run returning 65mpg on motorway journeys and has been used mainly for. There is lots of service history with the car, in my ownership, it has been fully serviced using the. Correct pd engine oil every time, in the 2 and half years i have owned it, I believe it has been serviced maybe 6 times averaging every 5k miles or so including 2 gearbox oil changes. Its recent full service was carried out within the last month at around the same time as its mot. I keep it well maintained as it needed to be reliable.

Last years pre mot inspection showed up a cracked coil spring and a slight leak on a shock absorber. Rather than messing around i just replaced all 4 shocks and springs with uprated items. This years pre mot inspection showed one of the rear axle bushes to have very slight play in it, quite common on this mk4 platform car..

I replaced both sides with uprated bushes along with a new set of front. Wishbones, brand new uprated anti-roll bar and arb bushes, suspension top mount bushes and bearings. And bump stops, also replaced recently were the brake pads and both rear brake calipers+ hand brake cables. It has also in the last couple days had a brand new battery fitted. Overall the car has had more than it needed to keep it reliable for work purposes. Good all round, clean tidy paintwork with the usual stone chips on front bumper. Within the last couple month i have replaced both front wings as one of them was starting to show the usual signs corrosion that you may see on golfs, replaced with brand new wings and painted to match. In good overall condition showing minimal wear and tear, but good for age and mileage. In good mechanical working order, starts up first time and will easily drive anywhere in the country. No oil leaks, drives with no knocks or bangs, very reliable. Everything really works as it should do, air con is cold, all electrics work, the in dash cd player has never been used by me, it does not light up when switching on the radio, not certain if it works or not, i do not use the boot but on the occasion i have the handle sometimes sticks, maybe due to it not being used in 2 years. Aside from that all is good. Remote central locking with 2 keys, 4x electric windows, electric mirrors, window lock. Child locks, front and rear armrest, cup holders, original radio cassette.
