Using waterproof flexible LED strip, these are suitable for the most harsh environments under the bonnet or in the boot. The self adhesive back helps hold the light in place while the cable ties are fitted. With 6m of wire, the prewired switch can be located anywhere in the car, allowing easy on off function.
If installed in the boot the light can be linked to the original boot light so the light functions like standard. These ambient lights require only 2 wires connecting. Connection is made by easy to use scotch connectors which require no cutting or soldering of existing wiring. We use the latest 5050 LED chips which each contain 3 LEDs, meaning 300% more lumens. For peace of mind each strip uses the. Of a standard 10w bulb, so will not flatten the battery if left on for a few hours. These lights can also be used in the cabin of a car or behind the front & rear bumpers. How will the light work? They can be linked to your existing boot light so operate via the boot lid, this will allow the switch to be used as a manual off should you require this. A live supply can be taken from the dash area of the car and the switch can be used to give manual on/off control. The kits consists of a 1m 60 LED flexible lighting strip, with 6m of wire with a round flush mount switch located 1m from the bare end.
The kit also includes some cable ties, paper instructions and 2 scotch connectors. We provide a full kit which only requires 2 cables connecting, both of which we provide easy to use scotch connectors.
