Mk4 Golf GT TDi 150PD. The car has MOT until 7th April 2017. This car has done us proud, we have owned it for 5 years, and has never let us down. This was top of the line in its day, it has all the nobs, dials, gizmos and gadgets that you would expect in an early naughties GT VW, including heated leather seats.

Cosmetically she is past her prime, the front wheel arches are heavily corroded, and the lacquer on the bonnet is flaking in places (see photos) there are no major bangs or scrapes, but its not going to win any concours competitions. If I had to list a few good points they would be. It has a few luxuries in the cockpit.

It's not too bad on fuel. A list of bad points would be a little longer. The mileage is wrong, I know this because I changed the clocks, I believe the true mileage to be around 160,000. We have never changed the cambelt - I have no idea when it was last done. The exhaust fumes smell when it idles, i'm no mechanic, but it doesn't smell right. As mentioned above, general cosmetics are not great. Nearside front wheel has a slow puncture. The last MOT had an advisory for "Anti-roll bar linkage cracked offside front". It makes a clicking noise when the steering is on full lock (I would assume CV joint). One of the rear door locks can be a little temperamental at times. The LCD display on the dash can be temperamental at times (see photo). If you want a cheap run around, or a car that could be quite nice with a little work I would turn it into a Bolf - Google it!
