1999 VW Golf 1.9 TDI Mk4
I have had this car for almost 11 years and it has been extremely reliable. I bought from a bank manager who used it as his company car which is when most of the mileage was done. Before that it was owned by an elderly lady who changed her car every couple of years and just used it locally. It has been regularly serviced, there may be the one or two stamps missing but the history is available for inspection along with several bills over the years showing new alternator, starter motor and replacement cam belt. Most recently had 2 new front tyres, the steering arms and bushes replaced, new battery and new underneath engine tray.
The car has the following known issues. Some scratches to paintwork (but not deep). Nearside rear seat does not fold down. Nearside rear window sometimes gets stuck. Passenger seat cannot be moved back or forward. Viewing of the car welcomed (this weekend only - Saturday and Sunday), or ask a question.
